Story
I DID IT!!! On 26th April, London Marathon day I walked the MyWay version 26.2 miles from my home to Mkt Harborough, Leicestershire.

I'm on my way to raise £1000 for the YHA to enable young people from disadvantaged families access adventure and breaks in stunning locations.
MY NEXT CHALLENGE IS ONE WEEK TODAY - THE AJ BELL BRISTOL 10Km run. That's the 10th of May. Apart from the marathon walk I am woefully unprepared to run so it will be a steady 'jeff' at best.
I'll be running for fun apparently, but I prefer to walk. I'll be in good company with some close family and we're aiming for 1hour 25 minutes.

Youth Hostels have been part of my life since I was a very young child. My Grandmother was a Hostel manager and I have many wonderful memories of adventures and fun in some amazing buildings set in wonderful locations. I think every child should get some experience of the outdoors and sharing adventures with others.
My challenge is to walk the London Marathon but on my own route from my home. I will walk across High Leicestershire to Market Harborough c. 26.2 miles. This is what the money is for..
"Today millions of young people live challenging lives Together we can help create unforgettable moments in amazing places, on their first big adventure. With your support we can deliver experiences that have the power to change young people’s futures. Moments where young people believe in themselves for the first time, recognise their talents and develop the ambitions that will take them on a different path through life. For the millions of young people facing poverty, disability, long-term illness and other challenges, these moments are rare."
I need your help to raise some money for a really good cause and an organisation that makes a real difference.
