On October 19th I will running a half marathon in memory of our son, Jackson.

I am creating this fundraising page in memory of our boy who should have been celebrating his 18th birthday this year.

Jackson was born on 3rd June 2006, we were absolutely ecstatic. He was a healthy, perfect, chubby, happy little boy and we couldn't believe our luck! Everyone commented on his chubby cheeks and how he was just so happy all the time! Davna and I were excited about our future with our beautiful boy.

Jackson didn't wake up from his afternoon nap, he was almost 5 months old.

It is always hard to explain the pain of that day. There are no words really, it was completely devastating.

The Lullaby Trust were invaluable in those early days. As well as support to families like ours your sponsors will help fund research projects investigating the causes and prevention of sudden infant death. The charity also support families who are fortunate enough to have more children. They supplied us with breathing monitors that both Rowan and Brodie slept attached to for their first year. I can honestly say I do not know what we would have done without those monitors. They rely solely on your donations as they do not receive any additional support so every penny raised is incredible and very appreciated.
