This year, the Rodeo Fitness running team is taking on two of London’s biggest races — the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the London Marathon — to raise money for M7 Education.

We’re a team of runners from Rodeo Fitness, pushing ourselves to the limit to help give disadvantaged children opportunities that many of us take for granted.

M7 Education provides fully funded school trips, workshops and educational experiences for disadvantaged students and schools across England and Wales. Their aim is simple: to make sure that no child misses out on an experience that could broaden their horizons, build their confidence or inspire a lifelong love of learning simply because their school or family cannot afford it.

For many children, an educational experience outside the classroom can be genuinely life-changing. It could be discovering a passion for STEM, experiencing art and culture for the first time, developing confidence through a workshop, or simply having the opportunity to create memories with their classmates.

Yet 1 in 3 children in England and Wales cannot afford to go on a school trip — meaning millions of children miss out on valuable educational and aspirational experiences every year.
