Story

On Friday 3rd November, Year 1 will be celebrating World Diabetes Day in school!

Jack in Wrens was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2019 - his brother George (in Kingfishers) was also diagnosed with the same lifelong autoimmune condition.

Year 1 are in invited to come to school dressed as a Superhero or in a Halloween costume of their choice - in exchange for a donation!

All monies raised are being donated to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), a charity which raises funds towards vital research in finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes - https://jdrf.org.uk.
