72 Hole Golf Challenge · 20 June 2024

Southmead Hospital Charity is the official charity of North Bristol NHS Trust. Together with our donors and fundraisers we deliver world-class projects and comforting items over and above what the NHS funds, to make the biggest difference to patients and their families.

Story

The 2024 Captain's charity is the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Southmead hospital. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, is a beacon of hope for hundreds of babies each year. With 34 cots, including those for intensive care, high dependency, and special care, the unit provides critical medical and neurological treatment. Every penny raised by the Filton Golf Club Captain's charity will support the NICU in their mission to provide intensive care, high dependency care, special care, and transitional care for these precious little ones.

The upcoming 72 Hole Golf Challenge on June 20th is not just a personal challenge; it's a testament to our dedication to the Neonatal ICU staff and the babies. Starting at 4:30am and ending close to 9pm, the club captain, vice-captain, members of the club, and staff will unite for this extraordinary feat. Join us in making a difference for Southmead Hospital Charity.
