Now at 16, our son Joel is coming to the end of his growth hormone treatment and is also due to be discharged by the team that performed the surgery for his hip displacia when he was 18 months old. Without the excellent care he has recieved at Alder Hey over the years it is difficult to imagine how different his life might have been.
