Story
On 22nd March 2026, I’m running the Alloa Half Marathon to raise money for Stirling Carers Centre — a charity very close to home.
I won’t be doing it alone though...I’ll be running alongside Charlie and Ava (my son and daughter), who are running their very first organised event, which makes the challenge even more special!
Stirling Carers Centre do amazing work supporting unpaid carers across the Stirling area — people who quietly give so much of themselves every day to care for loved ones. My wife is the CEO of the charity, so this cause is not only close to our family, but also central to her work every day. I see, first-hand how vital funding support is in allowing the team to continue providing advice, respite, emotional support and practical help to carers who so often put themselves last.
By supporting this run, you’ll be helping Stirling Carers Centre continue and grow this essential work, making a real difference to carers across our local community.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would be much appreciated — and to the carers whose lives will be positively impacted by your generosity.
Thank you so much for your support!
