Story
On May 31, 2025, I’ll be taking on my third marathon at the Adidas Stockholm Marathon—and maybe not my last! But this time, it’s about more than just crossing the finish line.
I’m running to support Care Venezuela, a charity dedicated to fighting malnutrition among children in Venezuela. Last time, thanks to your generosity, we helped Fundación Ángel Gabriel provide medical care and nutrition to 50 children in El Peñón, Cumaná. But the need is still great.
This year, we are supporting the Instituto de Previsión Social de los Profesores de la Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Yaracuy “Arístides Bastidas” (IPSPUPTYAB) in Venezuela. This organization provides vital medical assistance to pensioners and is raising funds to support breast cancer screening days in partnership with Clínica UDESAME, helping detect breast pathologies early. Each mammogram costs just $15 per patient, making early detection accessible to those who need it most. My goal is to help fund as many screenings as possible to support this crucial initiative.
Every step I take in Stockholm is for them. Every donation helps provide life-saving medical screenings.
Please support this cause and share! Let’s turn this marathon into a race for change.
