Roger's fundraiser for Dementia Friendly Hampshire

Roger Petch is raising money for Dementia Friendly Hampshire

Tandem parachute jump · 9 May 2026

We promote social inclusion for people diagnosed with dementia and give them a voice. We raise public awareness of dementia. We support the Hampshire Dementia Guide and create our own newsletter to disseminate information about the support and services available and our own outings and events.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I've taken part in the Great South Run a few times to raise money for Dementia Friendly Petersfield (DFP) but decided this year to try something different so I have booked a tandem parachute jump with Skydive Netheravon which, weather permitting, will be on the 9th May.

The jump is from 13000 feet with just under a minute of freefall.

DFP is an amazing group offering help and support for those with dementia and their carers and family. There is something for everyone ranging from the choir, the entertainment group, walking football, bowls, ballroom dancing, and many others. There is something happening every week. It's run by incredible people who give their time to help others.

The fundraising link refers to Dementia Friendly Hampshire but all the money raised will go to DFP which falls under the umbrella of the main Hampshire charity
