On Sunday 26th April I will be running the 2026 London Marathon for the Akshaya Patra Foundation.

In January I was lucky enough to head out to Gujarat and see the real impact this charity is having on the ground. From visiting a kitchen that cooks 60,000 meals a day to talking to teachers in a local school who have seen the benefits in the classroom. The Akshaya Patra Foundation feeds over 2 million vulnerable children every day and it costs just 15p to feed one child for one day.

By providing meals to school children, the foundation not only helps in eradicating hunger but encourages education. Education is the single most powerful tool to get an entire family out of the cycle of poverty.
