Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page!
Roisin: "I will be participating in the Norwich Triathlon, a big challenge for me considering a few months ago, the thought of running 5k seemed daunting! The event consists of a 1.5km swim, 38km cycle followed by a 10km run. Eeek!"
Joey: "This will be my third attempt at the Norwich Triathlon, having started with very little fitness in 2022. I've put my all into training this year, and look forward to racing for an incredible charity. Any donations would be so gratefully received!"
As you all know, for the past two years we have been working with refugees and asylum seekers who are making their new home in Norfolk and we want to give back to a local charity that supports our service users.
The Sue Lambert Trust is a Norfolk based charity that provides a kind, safe, non-judgmental, and supportive range of services for people who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual assault or sexual violence. The trust has supported refugees and asylum-seeking individuals who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse and sexual violence through therapeutic support, counselling, and group workshops. Your support is crucial in helping us continue this vital work.
By participating in the Norwich Triathlon on June 23, 2024, we are aiming to raise £500 to contribute to the trust's mission. £500 will provide 10 counselling sessions to someone who really needs it. Your donation through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
