Story
As many may know our family has been heavily affected by cancer recently, so we decided to try to run this marathon in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
This year alone, an estimated 44,000 people received a cancer diagnosis in Ireland. That's 120 people every day and 5 people every hour hearing the words "you have cancer" throughout the country.
With sufficient priority and investment the, Irish Cancer Society believe in a future where no one dies from cancer. The mission at the Irish Cancer Society is to help bring that day forward, thanks to the support of people like you.
By taking part in the Paris Marathon, we are trying to help fund life-changing cancer research and provide vital support services to patients and their loved ones in communities across Ireland. The Irish Cancer Society's work couldn't be possible without you, so thank you.
