So I think we all watch the London Marathon and think every participant must be mad to do it, but that it also looks incredible right? Well that’s what happened to me, I was sucked in and thought, maybe I could do this too, but if I did, I could also fundraise for something important and close to my heart.

I’m doing this race for our great friend Stevie, who at 3 years post diagnosis can still out party us at a wedding and manage a full cooked breakfast the morning after while we’re all struggling. You’re a great guy and friend Steven and we wouldn’t wish this on anyone but honestly the way you and your family handle what’s been thrown at you these couple of years is incredible. I think every person that meets you and your family wish we could do some thing more. I wouldn’t wish a cancer diagnosis on anyone, so I thought if I can do anything to help fund better investment into the science, better early diagnosis and well, just to help prolong the lives of everyone diagnosed that would be something.

So here’s to Stevie and all those that affected by bowel cancer, today and in the future.
