Story
Hi everyone,
On September 22nd, I will be confronting my fear of heights by taking on the exhilarating challenge of skydiving to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.
For the past four years, I have had the honor of working in the care sector, during this time, I've witnessed the profound impact Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia have on individuals and their families. It's a devastating disease that gradually steals memories, independence, and the essence of those we cherish.
Raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society, a charity that is deeply personal to me, is a cause I wholeheartedly support. This incredible charity provides essential support and resources to those affected, as well as funding vital research to find a cure. By contributing to this cause, we can help ease the burden on countless families and move closer to a world without Alzheimer's.
Despite my fear of heights, I am determined to make this jump because it symbolises the courage and resilience of those battling this relentless disease every day. Their strength inspires me to face my own fears head-on.
I humbly ask for your support in this endeavour. Any donation, big or small, will make a significant difference. Together, we can provide hope, support, and work towards a future free from Alzheimer's.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and encouragement.
