Story
Roland has proudly taken part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride for the past four years, and in 2026 he’ll be back in the saddle again – this time joined by Mia and Maisy.
On Sunday 21st June 2026, the three of us will be cycling 54 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton seafront to raise money for Blood Cancer UK.
We’ve chosen to support this charity because it is very close to our hearts. Earlier this year, Maisy’s aunty was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), a slow-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Although it isn’t curable, treatments can help manage the condition and improve quality of life.
A diagnosis like this affects not only the person diagnosed, but the whole family. Charities like Blood Cancer UK provide vital support, information and research that helps people navigate everything from the shock of diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
By taking on this 54-mile challenge, we hope to raise as much as possible to support their incredible work and contribute to research that will improve treatments and one day find a cure.
If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter how small, helps make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support.
