Dorney Lakes Triathlon · 9 August 2025

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Jon Over, who I’m lucky to call both a friend and a boss (probably an entertainer third) was recently diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease, which as you can imagine has been devastating news to him, his family, and all who know him. I wanted to support in any way I could and so I’ve decided to “compete” in a triathlon to raise money for the MND Association. This is a charity that funds vital research, supports people living with MND, and helps families like Jon’s through an incredibly tough journey. A triathlon consists of a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle, and a 10km run, and if that's not bad enough, it's all done in (what looks like) a leotard. Please support me in my public lycra humilation and donate whatever you can — every pound will help make a difference. Thank you so much for your support.
