In August 2023 a group of 9 young people from our local church, CBBC, will be heading to Romania to help run a children's summer project.

In order for this project to happen we need your help and support!

We are partnering with Blythswood and the Talita Kum centre in Jimbolia. The Talita Kum centre provides a six hour programme, five days a week for 40 children from some of the poorest households in Jimbolia, Romania. This centre runs throughout the year, providing ongoing care and support for these children.

In the summer, when there is no school for these children to attend, the Talita Kum centre organises summer camps.

We are raising money to fund this year's summer project and also heading out there in person to help facilitate the camp.

Our aim is to raise £9000! This will pay for the children from Jimbolia to go on the camp, cover their food, accommodation, activities and transport. This total will also allow the young people from the Highlands to go in person and help run the camp. We hope it will be a time where our young people can grow, be challenged and learn from our Romanian partners.
