This May I’ll be taking part in Swim for Endo to raise awareness and vital funds to support the 1 in 10 living with endometriosis. I’ll be swimming up to 9 km, or a distance that works for me, across 31 days.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition, and in the UK it takes on average over 9 years to receive a diagnosis. That’s far too long for people to wait for answers and care.

Endometriosis UK is here to provide support, trusted information, and to campaign for earlier diagnosis and better care so no one has to face endometriosis alone.

It took myself 11 years to be diagnosed with endometriosis through surgery.
