Romsey Mill creates opportunities with disadvantaged young people and families in Cambridgeshire. With a long-term relational approach it furthers development through activities shaped with participants. Romsey Mill works with young parents, young families, young people on the autistic spectrum and young people needing focused support to increase confidence and skills.

Story

The stabbing of Jesse Nwokejiobi in Cambridge recently simply highlighted the essential need to maintain and increase the Youth Work being carried out across Cambridge and Cambs, by Romsey Mill. For decades. This charity has been right in the middle of the community supporting young people who are vulnerable and often who have no hope or positive self-esteem and thus don't always get to make the right decisions that helps them to get the best out of life.

Romsey Mill is helping young people to find the way to leading their best lives but they need help to deliver this work.

On the 3rd December, I am delivering two gigs within the heart of this community at Mill Road Winter Fair (Sally Anns, Tenison Road at 11am) and at Romsey Mill (Hemingford Road) at 1pm.

I would like to raise a minimum of £1000 by the 3rd December for this amazing charity where I once worked, I met my future wife (who still works there) and where both my daughters have worked too. It is a special place to me, but it is a special place to thousands of people who are living better lives now because of their work.

Please support me if you can with a donation, if not, please share this link and help me to get the word out so that they can help me to reach my target.

Thank you!

John
