In lieu of flowers I am asking that people who knew my Dad donate to this wonderful charity.

Based in Lutterworth, 'South Leicestershire Dementia Community' (SLDC) supports people with a diagnosis of Dementia and provides invaluable support for their families.

For Mum, Dad and I, this group truely was a lifeline. It was a supportive space where we could take part in fun, engaging activities, discuss our fears and concerns and get valuable advice. The staff and volunteers are there to help the whole family throughout the Dementia Journey, from early diagnosis to after a loved one has sadly passed.

The money raised will ensure that the support is available for other families in the local area who have to face a diagnosis.
