Gordon Grant and Ron Briggs are both members of the North Dorset Beekeepers Association (NDBKA) who are at present raising money to build a honey bee centre in Shillingstone, North Dorset. The aims of the centre are to provide an all inclusive building which anyone can visit to improve their knowledge of honey bees, how we can help them, and how they affect us all.

Gordon and Ron are both passionate about the honey bee, and as well as being tutors on NDBKA courses, also undertake the rescue and rehoming of honeybees. You can see evidence of their work and rescues by visiting the NDBKA Facebook page at https://tinyurl.com/North-Dorset-Beekeepers.

This activity is completely voluntary by them and any donations given go directly to the new honey bee centre.
