My darling baby sister Kim died five years ago. She worked in the sea and she died by the sea and in her honour I want to run for the sea - for its creatures, who are also dying, and for her. Here's to a little living and a little ocean for everyone, while we still can.

My brilliant sister-in-law Lucy is also running the marathon, and helping fundraise: hello and thank you to all Lucy-friends who find their way here!
