Story
Hi, my name is Ronán and I am a 10-year-old boy from Bexley. For the past three years, I have ridden my bike from my home to different places to raise money for charities.
This year, I would like to raise money for the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.
I am dyslexic and I have combined ADHD. I sometimes find school and everyday life challenging, but I believe dyslexia is also a superpower. I believe every child with dyslexia deserves help, understanding, and support.
Many children — and even adults — go through life undiagnosed. This can make them unhappy and stop them from reaching their full potential. The Helen Arkell Charity helps families and children by providing assessments, support, and guidance to make everyday life easier.
Please help me raise awareness by sharing my story, and if you can, by donating. Every donation makes a difference and helps children and families get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.

Here is some information about the charity I have chosen this year.
The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity leads the way in providing specialist support to children, young people and adults with dyslexia. Their mission is to help people: 1. Believe in themselves 2. Achieve their goals and 3. Succeed on their own terms. There is no government funding for dyslexia, despite its lifelong impact. Fundraising is vital to ensure in-depth assessment and tuition is available to anyone with dyslexia, including lower income families and schools in disadvantaged areas. Thank you.
