Story
At YMCA Bournemouth, we understand that everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. Our short-term supported housing program is designed for individuals aged 18 to 65, providing a nurturing environment where they can rebuild their lives. With a total of 114 beds across four projects, including hostel rooms, flats, and shared accommodations, we tailor our support to meet the unique needs of each resident.
Our central hub at 56 Westover Road serves as a beacon of hope in the Bournemouth and Poole area. Here, individuals find not just shelter but also the encouragement and resources necessary to thrive. Each person who walks through our doors carries their own story—stories of struggle, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.
As we prepare for the YMCA Bournemouth BIG Sleep Easy on October 18th, 2025, we invite you to join us in making a difference. Our goal is to raise £5,000 to continue providing essential services and support for those in need. Your contribution will directly impact lives and help us create lasting change in our community. Together, let’s ensure that everyone has a place they can call home.
