Bringing Art to Harefield Hospital
Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital is a world-leading centre for heart and lung transplant care.
Lindi Reynolds & Co has committed both funding and professional expertise to refurbish two important spaces within the hospital: the PALS Room, where families often receive extremely difficult life-changing news, and the Transplant Unit patient and relatives quiet room, where patients and loved ones can meet.
Working alongside the hospital's dedicated arts team, RB&HArts, we are transforming these spaces into warm, welcoming environments that offer comfort during some of life's most challenging moments.
But we want to do more.
Alongside the refurbishment, we aim to raise £5,000 to commission original artwork for the rooms. Inspired by the natural world, these pieces will help bring a sense of calm, connection and hope to patients, families and visitors, particularly those unable to spend time outdoors.

We are so pleased that Lindi Reynolds & Co are so generously volunteering their time and resource to create a warm and comforting atmosphere at Harefield Hospital for both patients and their loved ones to enjoy. The Harefield Hospital site is so beautifully green, but it can be hard to appreciate that when you’re unable to go outside, so this is a lovely way to bring some of the calming effects of nature into the hospital for patients to enjoy.
Every penny donated will go directly towards commissioning and installing artwork for these rooms.
This campaign has the full support of Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity, and is backed by a Harefield heart transplant survivor who knows, first-hand, the comfort that beauty can bring in the darkest of moments.
