Some of your favourite locals along with Charlie & Alistair from the Red Rooster pub, are braving this year's Total Warrior in Leeds – a 12km obstacle course! Call us athletes, call us dedicated... call us mad, but whatever you call us, we're doing it! The dream team are taking on this crazy feat in aid of our beloved local Overgate Hospice that has a special place in all our hearts.

Overgate Hospice provides expert care, support, advice, and information for patients with terminal illnesses or long-term conditions that cannot be cured – also known as life-limiting – and their families, carers, and loved ones.

Graham Evans a dear friend of Alistair's (our pub landlord) was also cared for at Overgate. The whole Overgate team are fondly remembered by Graham's nearest and dearest as being a great source of support through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

You'll always find someone in Calderdale who has a story about how Overgate has helped them in one way or another.
