Bryntirion Comprehensive School are participating in the Victory for Velindre Skills Challenge in aid of Velindre Cancer Services and Charity.

Velindre, the Hospital of Hope has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years.

Roots 'n Shoots, a growing plant kit business, has always believed in the power of nature to heal and inspire. This year, we’re competing in a challenge themed to creating a product/service that will raise money for Velindre. We have created a heartfelt fundraiser on JustGiving to help fundraise for this amazing charity!

However I must tell you that by donating to this JustGiving page you wont be buying a plant kit. This page is only to raise money, if you would like to buy one of our 6 different plant kits we offer then please get in touch with one of our hard working members: Iestyn Salkeld, Pranay Vallabhaneni, James Phelan, Lloyd Harris, Cian Ford and Jack Carvell-White

Because we have so much love and compassion for Velindre, we have decided that 100% of all sales and donations well be going to Velindre Cancer Charity!

Our group is the group you should donate to because we have really thought deep about the connection between cancer, a taker of life, and plants, a giver of life, this is why we had the inspiration to choose plants as our business.
