Do 62 Miles in March for CALM

Story

Last September, we were stunned to learn my amazing, funny and kind cousin had taken his own life, at just 30 years old. I’m taking part in CALM’s 62 miles in March campaign to raise money for a great charity. I’ll be walking around Sheffield to complete my 62 miles. I know this isn’t a mammoth task and others have done and are doing far more strenuous activities, but it’s something, and it’s an opportunity to continue to shine a spotlight on male mental health and the Campaign Against Living Miserably. Anything you can spare would be really appreciated.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably.

From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what.

£8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
