Taking on October: 100 Squats a Day & a Dry Month!
This October, I’m taking on a personal challenge that’s going to push me out of my comfort zone.
For 31 days, I’m committing to 100 squats every single day. It may sound simple, but anyone who knows me will tell you this is going to be tough! I’m determined to make my body stronger, healthier, and more resilient, one squat at a time.
But that’s not all. I’m also going completely alcohol-free for the whole month!!! well, almost. There’s one big exception: my niece’s 18th birthday. Otherwise, it’s a dry October for me. For someone who has always enjoyed a drink (and at 18 stone, who knows I could use a bit of a challenge!), this is a huge deal.
Why am I doing this? I want to push myself, prove that I can stick to a tough challenge, and raise money for St Ann’s Hospice at the same time. Every squat and every sober day will be dedicated to a cause close to my heart, and I hope to inspire others to take small steps toward their own health and wellbeing.
I know it won’t be easy, there will be days when motivation is low, and muscles ache, and the temptation to have a drink is strong. But every time I push through, I’ll be reminding myself that the effort is worth it, and that I’m doing this for a cause bigger than myself.
Please support me on this journey! Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and give me that extra boost to keep going when it gets tough. Thank you for helping me turn a personal challenge into something meaningful.
