Hair Shaving

We are parent led & run purely on a voluntary basis. We aim to support all deaf children, young deaf people & their families. We organise different activities for deaf children & their siblings and it is a great opportunity for the parents to get together including annual Xmas party.

Story

My son, Rory has been Deaf since birth and is a member of Norfolk DCS for over 10 years. He want to give something back to Norfolk DCS because they have helped him to build his confidence and be independent.

For this, he is shaving all of his hair off and to raise money for Norfolk DCS.

The Norfolk Deaf Children's Society (Norfolk DCS), which is affiliated to the National Deaf Children's Society, was originally set up in 1962 and comprised of a group of individuals concerned with deafness and deaf issues in their local community.

The Society today is made up of parents of deaf children, young deaf people, people who work with deaf children and friends and families of both deaf children and of the Society.
