Myelopathy.org is the first and only charity dedicated for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy,a common and disabling spinal condition that is globally under-diagnosed.Myelopathy.org was created to provide education and support for those affected, and inspire new research into the condition.

Story

I am running 36 miles across the Grand Canyon for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy (DCM) the most common form of spinal cord injury.

Myelopathy.org is the first global scientific and clinical charity dedicated to positively transforming patient outcomes in Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy (DCM).

It is dedicated to improving the outlook for people with DCM around the world, through scientific and clinical research, education, and collaboration with patients and the wider myelopathy community.

I’m running to raise the charity’s profile as well as raise the funds to advance research into support and awareness for Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy (DCM). Challenge events are a great and effective way to generate awareness for a charity’s services and the incredible work that goes on.
