Story
I am doing this walk for my Mother and Myself. Marie Curie looked after my Mum so well in her last few months. The Care Compassion Empathy Work Ethic they have is 5 Star treatment in the comfort of your own home which Mum wanted. The Nurses & Dr Scott were Amazing! They need an Award for the work they do for us the people with Cancer. We would have been lost without them.
Marie Curie nurses, doctors and frontline staff work night and day in our Belfast Hospice and in peoples homes right across Northern Ireland providing expert clinical care for patients and much needed respite, comfort and reassurance for families, carers and loved ones.
The money that is raised helps Marie Curie Nurses provide vital care and support to people with terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
£23 could pay for one hour of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own home
£92 could help fund four hours of nursing care in a person's home when they need it most.
