Edinburgh Marathon 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·

On Sunday 26th May 2024 our incredible team of runners are taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in support of good mental health for all.

Story

Yes that's right folks, it's time to throw myself back in the deep end and do another marathon while my body is still up for it! What better place to conquer this challenge, than in Scotland along the beautiful coastline to the east of Edinburgh.

I think almost all of us in our lives have been affected by mental health in some way, shape or form. It is something that certain people are able to talk about and deal with openly, but also something where people bottle it up and can self destruct. I wanted to run for this charity because, whatever life throws at us, there is help out there and people to lean on in times of need and you don't need to feel alone.

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK's charity for everyone's mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

I am stepping into new territory by attempting to do this in sub 3 hours 45 minutes. I can confirm training has started and seems to be going well, I have connected this page to my strava fitness app to provide you with what I hope will be optimistic news that the time above is achievable, and that I am match fit on the day! I really do appreciate any donations that come my way, big or small.

Thank you so much in advance and hopefully I can do you all proud for this great cause.

Much love
