Hi there and welcome!

For those who do not know us, we are four good friends, Euan, Calum, Rory and Sam (from left to right in the spectacularly handsome photos above). We have decided to run the Loch Ness Marathon in September 2024 in aid of a charity very close to our hearts.

In April 2024, Sam sadly lost his wonderful mother Jackie to cancer, which was a heartbreaking and challenging time for them both. Battling cancer, or being the loved one of somebody battling cancer, can be incredibly frightening, confusing and isolating. For Sam and Jackie, and so many others living with the affects of cancer, Maggie's Center Dundee is a safe haven for emotional and practical support to those who are living with the challenges cancer brings. Maggie's is a chat with a cancer specialist, help with financial worries, a peer support group, counselling, bereavement support, or just a cup of tea and a friendly face.

The money we hope to raise running the Loch Ness Marathon is to help ensure that individuals and families can continue to be cared for by this very special service, so we kindly ask you to donate whatever you can, little or large.

As much as this fundraiser is in memory of Jackie, ducks fly together, so it truly is for every single person that is impacted by the devastating affects of cancer.
