Dogsfriends is a charity that rescues and re-homes hundreds of dogs each year in the Bristol, Bath and North Somerset areas. All our helpers are volunteers and without donations from dog lovers we simply could not afford to rescue as many as we do. May we please rely on your support? Thank you.

Story

Many of you will remember little Rory, the puppy who was found with horrific injuries at the side of the road in Bristol. Rory spent several months undergoing surgeries and rehabilitation and we thought he was better - it truly seemed like a miracle. Sadly, Rory has recently suffered a major setback and has lost a huge range of his mobility and is in a lot of pain. Following consultations and X-Rays, a specialist orthopaedic vet has confirmed that Rory needs further surgery on his hips to help him over this hurdle. Aside from our sadness for poor Rory, this is a huge blow for the charity as we are really struggling and have already paid out hundreds of pounds for his X-Rays and consults before we even get to the surgery stage. This little champ has come on so far and we really want to give him this final push so that he can live a happy, pain free life. Please help if you can.
