100,000 steps in a single day for Harbour Support Services

Over the course of one day in February (date to be confirmed) I will walk 100,000 steps in order to raise money for Harbour, a fantastic charity which provides support to those affected by domestic abuse. I estimate this to be around 75 kilometres, a distance which will definitely be punishing, but a worthwhile endeavour for such a deserving cause. I've included some more information about the charity and the fundraising activities of JBCFS below:
This year, Josephine Butler Charity Fashion Show is raising money in support of Harbour - a charity which works across the North East and provides a range of different services to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
"For over forty five years we have provided assistance to families and individuals affected by domestic abuse.
Statistics show that domestic abuse affects a quarter of all women at some time in their lives, regardless of age, social class, race, disability, sexual orientation or lifestyle. The visible consequences of this are obvious to see but the hidden consequences are often underestimated ~ isolation, loss of confidence, fear and despair.
We want people to know they don’t have to go through these experiences alone and there is help available.
We make no judgement about the choices people have made; rather we offer advice and practical assistance to help people to improve their future.
We are an independent registered charity, a company limited by guarantee and our activities are governed by our Board of Trustees. Harbour is affiliated to the Women’s Aid Federation of England."
