Being a teenage girl in the world today is a challenge. The landscape they are attempting to navigate is fraught with danger and confusion and they need positive female role models to talk to, a safe space, guidance and inspiration. Our work and advocacy is needed more than ever today and we are delighted you are joining in our fundraising efforts so we can facilitate more Big Sister mentoring programmes, Stardom coaching interventions and bespoke programmes all aimed at helping girls find their voice, their gumption, their resilience and their aspirations.

If we are going to ensure we have a healthy female talent pipeline we need to start empowering our young women much earlier than when they enter the workforce. Our offering does just that and in the past 16 years we have impacted the lives of over 35k girls, working in over 85 schools in the Northwest region and we haven’t even scratched the surface of our ambitions!

The AJ Bell 10k is a great opportunity for us all to come together and raise funds to support vulnerable girls in the Greater Manchester region. We are passionate about female empowerment and inspiring the girls, and know for sure all anyone needs is to be seen, heard and know that what they say matters. Having someone on your side to listen without judgement and gently guide you is awesome and really matters.
