Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am excited (although nervous!) to share that I will be participating in the Oxford Half Marathon on October 12, 2025, to support Growing Hope High Wycombe. This incredible charity provides free therapy to children and young people with additional needs, along with vital support for their families in the High Wycombe area.

Currently, they offer essential services such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, and Art Therapy. With 18.8% of children and young people facing additional needs, the demand for these services is greater than ever. Unfortunately, many families are left waiting for up to two years for support from NHS health services that are stretched thin and facing reductions in provision.

Private therapy options are often out of reach for most families, leaving them feeling isolated and without hope for their children's futures. As Clinic Manager and Speech Therapist at Growing Hope High Wycombe, I witness this need first-hand every day. Families deserve access to the therapeutic support they require to thrive.

I am asking for your help in making a difference. My goal is to raise £1,000 through this fundraising effort. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and completely secure. Your details will remain safe with JustGiving—they will never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your contribution goes directly to the charity, ensuring that every penny counts towards providing essential services.

Together, we can bring hope and a future to those who need it most.
