Story
Around 12 years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Tanzania to support the work done by the Tumaini Fund. The Tumaini Fund work to care for widows and orphans in the Kagera region of Tanzania which is one of the poorest and most remote regions on Tanzania
This year money raised through the Kiltwalk is going towards Tumaini Scotland's latest project; helping to resource the team of Parish Workers. There are currently 400 Parish Workers who work in very remote villages and we hope to equip as many as possible with a bicycle. Each will usually care for over 130 orphans and so for every Worker we are able to equip, we are indirectly supporting this many orphans.
Thank you for your support.
