Power the Fight is an award-winning charity which tackles violence affecting young people. PTF creates long-term solutions for sustainable change and acts as a link between the community and policy makers. Most of our work is with young people, families, schools, local authorities, faith groups and community organisations who want to be equipped to engage with youth violence issues in their context.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

This year we are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon, raising money for Power the Fight. Power the Fight, an award-winning charity providing transformative youth work and championing community-led responses to violence affecting young people. They work with young people and families affected by violence as well as training teachers, youth workers, and other professionals to better identify and support those affected.

So our aim is to raise as much money as possible to support this amazing cause! Although Nadia has run a marathon before, Rose is admittedly probably the world’s worst long distance runner and has only run 5km at a time before in her life! But we have fully committed ourselves to training for this mammoth 21km run and have already pushed ourselves out of my comfort zone in training. We know your kind donations will help to keep us going and motivate us to get to the finish line!

Thank you in advance for your support!
