We are incredibly proud to announce that The Royal British Legion in Bungay has been chosen as Rosedale Funeral Home’s Charity of the Year for 2025. As part of our ongoing support, we’re thrilled to share some exciting initiatives happening in our local communities—and how you can get involved!

Poppies with a Purpose

The wonderful members of The Yard in Lowestoft are already busy knitting and crocheting poppies to help raise funds throughout the year—and we’d love your help too!

If you can knit or crochet, or would like to give it a go, we have free patterns and wool available.

Once your poppies are ready, drop them off at any Rosedale branch.

We’ll be selling these handmade poppies all year long, with proceeds going directly to the Royal British Legion in the area the money was raised.

We are also planning to support a world record attempt and VE day celebrations in our local communities, as well as planning a bingo event and a memorial service in Bungay with a brass band.
