DEBRA is the national charity supporting those directly affected by, and working with, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a potentially fatal skin condition that causes constant pain due to unstoppable internal and external blistering. DEBRA provides lifelong care and support to the entire EB community. EB can range from mind to severe, depending on the strain.

EB Awareness is a cause very close to our hearts, as a young boy named Louis, who was diagnosed with EB at a few months old, is very close to the nursery. Seeing his courage and smiles every day despite his hardships is incredibly inspiring. Louis - this ones for you!

Rosedene Nurseries are partaking in an 'Inside-Out Day' to help raised awareness of EB. On Friday 7th November, children and staff are encouraged to wear their clothes inside out and donate just £1 if you can. The children will also be partaking in butterfly-themed activities, as those with EB are said to have skin as delicate as a butterfly's wing.
