I am thrilled to share that I am raising funds for the Innerleithen Pipe Band's "PipeBand-A-Thon 2025" campaign.

The Innerleithen Pipe Band, based in the heart of the Scottish Borders, is more than just a musical group; it is a vibrant community where children, young people, and adults unite to play bagpipes and drums. Through competitions and local festivals, we create unforgettable memories and foster a sense of belonging.

However, maintaining this cherished tradition comes with its challenges. Just one pipe chanter reed costs £15.00, while a pair of drumsticks also sets us back £15.00. The average cost for coach hire to competitions is a staggering £825.00. Last year alone, the band spent over £31,000.00 to keep our music alive and thriving. As an entirely self-funded organization, we rely on the generosity of supporters like you through our annual PipeBand-A-Thon to cover essential expenses such as musical instruments, uniforms, tuition, and all other running costs necessary for a functioning pipe band.

This year’s event will take place on May 10th, 2025, and our target is to raise £3000 to continue this vital work in our community. Your support can make a significant difference in helping us achieve this goal.
