During my time as a foundation doctor, I've had the privilege of caring for patients living with cancer. This experience has given me an understanding of how profoundly a cancer diagnosis can affect every aspect of a person's life. So often, these patients fight to overcome one challenge, only to face another just around the corner. It's a journey that takes incredible courage.

Rosemere Cancer Foundation supports patients through some of the most frightening moments of their lives, providing care and comfort to people across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Their work is vital and it's an honour to support them!

To help Rosemere continue their great work, myself and Jose will be encouraging donations by attempting the UK National 3 Peaks Challenge.

Rosemere Projects:

🍸 £500 - Funds smaller but meaning initiatives like cocktail / canapé services and ice lollies for patients on Ribblesdale Ward.

🎵 £3770 - Keeps music playing in the radiotherapy department through Bluetooth speakers and tablets, giving patients the comfort of their own playlists during treatment.

🔬 £32590 - Freezer units and other equipment required to set up a cardiothoracic and biofluid research bank, providing specimen samples for cancer research nationally.

🌹 £65000 - Delivers Complementary Therapy Services for patients and carers.
