On 30th September I will be climbing Mount Snowdon with one of my closest friends for Suicide Prevention UK.

Suicide prevention is something very close to my heart and has effected myself and others close to me. Unfortunately there is still a huge stigma around the topic and the numbers are only increasing for those effected. Everyone has a story, everyone has demons and some of us have to battle a little bit harder to fight those off. Not everything is surface level and as it seems on the outside and we need to love and support each other more.

If you ever feel like your tired of fighting your demons like I once did, I urge you to speak to someone, write to someone, anyone and accept you may need a bit of help. This is nothing to feel ashamed of and it doesn’t matter if this is a friend, family member or a professional you cannot suffer in silence.

My journey has been hard, the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through in my life but I am in the best place in my life now! So I have decided to celebrate life and the wonderful life I live and climb mount snowdon with one of my closest friend to raise money and awareness!

To anyone struggling who is reading this - Whatever it is you have gone through, you’re not alone and I promise one day you will understand when I say, it will be okay. One day you will want to celebrate the life you have and you should be so proud to get yourself there!
