Walking the West Highland Way in Memory of My Mum
At the end of April, I’ll be walking roughly 100 miles over 7 days along the West Highland Way with my incredible rescue dog, Winston—not just for the challenge but for something deeply personal. I’m doing this in memory of my mum, who passed away from breast cancer 15 years ago. She also struggled with mental health, and as this milestone anniversary approaches, I wanted to do something meaningful to honor her.
While thinking about where to raise funds, I kept coming back to a place that truly shaped me—my local youth complex. As a teenager, they were there for me when I needed it most, providing support, guidance, and even my first job. Now, I want to give back and help ensure other young people get the same opportunities and support.
If you’d like to support me on this journey, any donation—big or small—will go directly to the youth complex, helping them continue their incredible work. Thank you for being part of this with me and I promise to keep you all updated along the way ❤️
