I’m raising money for Mind because I have personally struggled with my mental health and have experienced how difficult it can be to get the right support. I reached a crisis point in my life, and my experiences with mental health services afterwards were not always what I needed or hoped for. Going through this made me realise how important it is that we raise more awareness around mental health and give people the support they deserve. I believe our NHS and mental health services need more awareness, funding and support from the public so that people who are struggling don’t feel alone or forgotten.

I wanted to use something I love — creating art — to do something positive and help support a cause that means so much to so many people. I’ll be selling my artwork and donating the money raised to Mind, helping them continue providing support, advice and information to people experiencing mental health problems.
