Story

There's got to be something wrong with me 🫠

On the 26th of June I and a number of other TMK colleagues will be flinging ourselves out of a plane for charity, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to be exact. My family has unfortunately taken a bit of a battering over the last 18 months from this horrible disease, so I feel it's only right to do my bit. The broad spectrum of work that The Royal Marsden does is truly amazing, so if you feel you'd like to, please support their amazing cause. And pray I don't need my life insurance!

On 26th June, we will be joined by colleagues from Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) in an exciting fundraising event to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Colleagues will be participating in the ‘Summer Skydive 2026’ at Netheravon Airfield, near Salisbury, speeding through the air at 120mph for 5,000 feet before parachuting down to the ground and steering onto the drop zone.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure their nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
