Story
You can beat cancer! I’m living proof and I want everyone diagnosed with blood cancer to have the same chance I did. Now lets outrun cancer together!
In 2018 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma; I lost my hair, I paused my medical training, I put my wedding on hold then after 6 months of chemo completed..........
I returned to work a month after my last chemo session, got married 9 months after and jumped ship to GP training. I have been so fortunate that despite my chemo therapy I have been able to have two stunning boys now 4 and 2 years old and can look forward again!
I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Lymphoma Action. Without them my story might have been different, so let's pull together and raise money to help everyone diagnosed with lymphoma, support them now and to ensure in the future we can all beat cancer!
Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer.
We’re here for everyone affected by lymphoma. https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/
