Story
Mission:Unbreakable is a 10k commando course filled with tough challenges and obstacles.
It was 6 years ago that Gemma Louise lost her battle after nearly a decade of putting a middle finger up to cancer. She'd been my best friend since school, all those years ago with Louise Belsom and the rest of the gang and was the most dedicated and inspirational mum to Fynn, who I have the honour of calling my godson. She was supported throughout by her family and also by a number of charities that helped her fulfil ambitions and also to support her end of life choices. Gemma fundraised herself for Macmillan right up until the end, until she physically couldn't walk well enough, so I've got no excuse not to do something.
Those of you who know me well know that I hate running, and really, anything other than accidental exercise. But last year, I took part in Mission:Unbreakable and committed to doubling the donations (to be honest, not thinking I knew enough people to muster up more than £100) but ended up being able to donate a whopping £1,769.59 + £392.50 gift aid to North Devon Hospice.
Mission:Unbreakable is a 10k commando course filled with tough challenges, obstacles and lots of shouting marines. Any donation this year would be much appreciated and I will be committing the double up to the same amount as last year, if you can all find some pocket change to donate and share. Thanks!
